Sacks of Snacks

Sacks of Snacks was created because of a need, children in our community were going hungry.  We were contacted by a local school asking us to help some students who would not have any food for their school break.  We took action and provided some groceries for these children, but it became apparent that this was just a Band-Aid  to a bigger problem.  We met with some of our local school principals and community non profits.  Out of this meeting Sacks of Snacks came into existence.

We now serve Dearborn County Schools for a total of 410 children.  We provide a weekly bag of food for these children to have food to eat on the weekends.
