The Dearborn County Clearinghouse was established in 1981 in response to a growing need for compassionate, community‑driven support. When our neighbors needed a reliable nonprofit to stand in the gap, we stepped forward with practical, sensible solutions rooted in dignity and care.

For more than 44 years, we have remained committed to providing food and hope to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Every meal, every program, and every act of service has been made possible by the unwavering generosity of our community.

The Clearinghouse Food Pantry was created to feed and clothe those in need in our community. We are committed to being a trusted, dependable resource—a place where every person is welcomed with open arms and provided with the food and essentials they need to thrive.

Our Impact

We proudly serve our neighbors through a range of programs designed to meet people where they are:

• Over 2,000 clients supported through our brick‑and‑mortar pantry locations

• 80 prepackaged food boxes delivered to seniors each month

• 275+ families reached through our Mobile Pantry program

• 340 schoolchildren receiving weekly Sacks‑of‑Snacks during the school year
